Siemens Cypress, CA seeks an Area Fire Solutions Sales Manager to lead a team selling fire alarm solutions for new construction in the greater Los Angeles area. You will recruit, mentor, and develop talent while expanding relationships with contractors and customers to grow market share.

You will promote digitalization, remote services, and analytics, guiding bids, margins, and strategic plans to meet company objectives and customer needs in a dynamic building technology environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of sales experience in Fire/Life Safety
• Ability to interpret job specs and coach sellers
• Experience with contracting and working with contractors
• Strong organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Eligible for driver’s license and fleet vehicle program

Responsibilities

• Promote team selling and expand relationships across divisions/geographies
• Support sales process from qualification to implementation
• Mentor and evaluate team performance; develop skills
• Review bids to ensure margins and objectives are met
• Develop sales forecasts and contribute to targets
• Drive digitalization strategy, remote services, and analytics
• Travel ~10% overnight for training and business development
