Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services in Pecos, Texas, is seeking a first-level manager to supervise Field Service Technicians and operate compressor packages and equipment, including rentals, within one Area. This on-site role emphasizes safety, reliability, and building strong customer relationships.

You will hire, train, and develop technicians, ensure 98% mechanical availability, and report to the Regional Manager of Operations while coordinating with the Sales team on site visits.

Qualifications

• Communication and customer service skills.
• OEM, trade school, or comparable work experience.
• Minimum 4 years gas compression experience in operating position.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Field Service Technicians and compressor packages.
• Hire, train, and develop Technicians and Supervisors.
• Maintain 98% mechanical availability.
• Respond to call-outs and travel as needed.
• Report and analyze field efficiency metrics.
• Interact with Kodiak Sales team during customer meetings.
