Job summary

H&R Block seeks a seasoned Multi-Office Leader to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices, delivering a consistent, high-quality client experience. You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set expectations, and balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership across locations.

You will own office readiness, staffing, facilities, compliance, and day-to-day operations, driving revenue growth and business performance while traveling between offices to maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years work experience leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Strong leadership capability with proven coaching and accountability.
• Proven ability to drive business and financial results while managing day-to-day operations.
• Experience leading through change and adopting new processes.
• Ability to travel frequently between offices.
• Ability to work a schedule aligning with office hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviours and performance outcomes.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements in client acquisition and retention.
• Ensure daily operations including staffing, scheduling, compliance, and SOPs.
• Oversee facilities, equipment, supplies, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
