Airgas is seeking an Area Driver Trainer to lead driver safety, onboarding quality, and field readiness across the region. You will oversee governance, certify drivers, and partner with safety leaders to investigate incidents.

You will also mentor local trainers, manage the Driver Training Curriculum, and ensure standardized, high-quality instruction while meeting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensure & Endorsements: Class A CDL (clean record), Hazmat endorsement, valid DOT Medical Card, LPG trainer endorsement (KS/AR/MO).
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s in Occupational Health & Safety, 2+ years CMV management, 3+ years risk management.

Responsabilités

• Lead Regional Training & Governance: oversee onboarding for 75-100 drivers; evaluate trainers; audit weekly logs.
• Curriculum Management & Trainer Leadership: deploy Driver Training Curriculum & Safety Manual; onboard and audit local Trainers.
• Safety Protocol Enforcement: coach core safety standards and conduct hands-on evaluations for operational skills.
• Driver Certification & Retraining: lead final field check-rides; address skill gaps and support retention.
• DOT Compliance & Incident Management: work with Area Safety Managers on investigations; prep for roadside inspections.
