Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Area Sales Manager in Maryland to build and manage a robust dealer pipeline, focusing on independent and franchise dealerships. The ASM will engage decision-makers, drive surveys and MRAs, and provide on-site onboarding support while ensuring timely dealer communications and CRM logging.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive finance, strong negotiation and communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of automotive finance experience, selling to dealership owners and decision-makers.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a prospect account database for originators.
• Continuously build and manage a robust dealer pipeline (independent and franchise).
• Respond to dealer queries and provide timely support.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and other departments to meet targets.
• Drive performance through targeted dealer engagement and weekly interactions.
• Call First Approach: prioritize calls and schedule in-person meetings; make at least 30 calls daily when no appointments.
• Complete 3–4 surveys per week and secure 4 MRAs monthly.
• Provide onsite onboarding support and follow up within 5 business days of dealer launch.
• Document all dealer communications and outcomes in Zoho CRM.
