Job summary

Trane Technologies in New Jersey is seeking an Area Contracting Manager to lead contracting operations for the Building Automation Systems and Energy Services segments. You will drive profitability, supervise multiple teams, and collaborate with sales to develop strategies while ensuring compliance and safety.

The role requires extensive experience in facilities/HVAC contracting, strong leadership, and a focus on operational excellence within a large regional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum eight (8) years’ experience in facilities or HVAC systems preferred.
• Experience in contracting processes related to building automation systems and turnkey projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver contracting profitability for the New Jersey area of the GNE region while achieving AOP priorities.
• Supervise contracting personnel and monitor performance against goals.
• Support the Regional Contracting Operation Leader and Area GM in delivering results and alignment.
• Oversee contracting fulfillment processes to achieve operational excellence and profitability.
• Coach and lead a local team of project managers, specialists and technicians.
• Ensure safety culture and regulatory compliance across the organization.
