Job summary

Trane in the New Jersey area is hiring an Area Contracting Manager to oversee the Contracting fulfillment operations across the New Jersey region. You will drive profitability, manage project teams, and coordinate with sales to align costs with strategic objectives.

The role emphasizes leadership of project managers and technicians, risk and forecast management, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while delivering superior client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum eight (8) years’ experience in facilities or HVAC systems preferred.
• Experienced and knowledgeable in contracting processes associated with the installation of building automation systems and turnkey projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Contracting profitability for the New Jersey area of the GNE region while achieving AOP priorities.
• Supervise contracting personnel effectiveness and efficiency in relation to customer service and goals.
• Coach, mentor, and develop a local group of project managers, project specialists and controls field technicians.
• Oversee contracting fulfillment processes and manage project financial results using lean methodology.
