Description

The Area Coach (AC) provides overall leadership and direct supervision of approximately 4-10 Taco Bell restaurants to ensure that each Restaurant General Manager (RGM) meets or exceeds the Annual Operating Plan established for their individual unit.

Role

• People role model the How We Work Together Principles.
• Find, hire, and develop the best RGMs, Assistant General Managers, and Shift Managers.
• Coach your RGMs on the "4 Rights" in their restaurants and provide regular feedback during 1:1 sessions.
• Take action without being told, go beyond what is simply required, and maintain a high activity level.
• Understand how customers are viewing your restaurants through scheduled visits and detailed analysis (VOC and CORE).
• Lead product and program rollouts with your RGMs to ensure success.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive customer relations.
• Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude with co‑workers, employees, and customers.
• Analyze the financial performance of your area and understand trends.

Requirements

• 5 years of successful, operational multi‑unit management experience.
• Demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching and development of managerial employees.
• Proven ability to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, financial performance, and employee satisfaction.
• Good communication skills and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Exceptional team building capability.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical decision‑making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to travel between designated stores daily.
• Background checks are run on all management employees.
