Job summary

Hospitality Restaurant Group is seeking an Area Coach to oversee a portfolio of Taco Bell restaurants, providing leadership and direct supervision to ensure units meet objectives. The role requires leading RGMs, driving customer satisfaction, and improving financial performance across the area.

The ideal candidate will manage 4–10 Taco Bell locations, travel daily between stores, and coach teams to deliver results while adhering to brand standards and operating plans.

Qualifications

• 5 years of successful, operational multi-unit management experience.
• Proven ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with conflict-resolution ability.
• Exceptional team-building capability.
• Basic business math and accounting skills with strong analytical decision making.
• Basic personal computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Model and reinforce the How We Work Together principles.
• Find, hire and develop RGMs, Assistant General Managers and Shift Managers.
• Coach RGMs on the 4 Rights and provide regular 1:1 feedback.
• Take initiative and maintain high activity while meeting restaurant goals.
• Analyze VOC/CORE data to understand customer perceptions of the restaurants.
• Lead product and program rollouts with RGMs to ensure success.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly while preserving positive relations.
• Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic attitude with coworkers, employees and customers.
• Analyze the financial performance of the area and identify trends.

The Area Coach (AC) provides overall leadership and direct supervision of approximately 4 - 10 Taco Bell restaurants to ensure that each Restaurant General Manager (RGM) meets or exceeds the Annual Operating Plan established for their individual unit.

Role:

• People Role model the How We Work Together Principles.
• Find and hire and develop the best RGMs, Assistant General Managers and Shift Managers.
• Coach your RGMs on the "4 Rights" in their restaurants and provide regular feedback during 1:1 sessions.
• Take action without being told, go beyond what is simply required and maintain a high activity level.
• Understand how customers are viewing your restaurants through scheduled visits and detailed analysis (VOC and CORE).
• Lead product and program rollouts with your RGMs to ensure success.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Area Coach position will possess:

• 5 years of successful, operational multi-unit management experience.
• Demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching and development of managerial employees.
• Proven ability to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction
• Good communication skills and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Exceptional team building capability.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical decision making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Must be able to travel between designated stores daily
