Job summary

Hospitality Restaurant Group is seeking an Area Coach to oversee 4–10 Taco Bell locations in the New York area. You will recruit, coach and develop RGMs, monitor restaurant performance and lead program rollouts to ensure operational success.

You will travel daily among designated stores, drive customer satisfaction, and manage financial results while maintaining strong team engagement and positive customer relations. This role demands proactive leadership and a track record of delivering results.

Qualifications

• 5 years of successful, operational multi-unit management experience.
• Proven track record of coaching and developing managerial employees.
• Proven ability to achieve high customer satisfaction and strong financial performance.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Must travel daily between stores and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead 4–10 Taco Bell restaurants to meet/exceed annual operating plans.
• Hire, coach and develop RGMs, AMs and Shift Managers.
• Coach RGMs on the 4 Rights with regular 1:1 feedback sessions.
• Act proactively, drive action beyond minimum requirements.
• Analyze VOC and CORE to gauge customer perceptions across locations.
• Lead product/program rollouts to ensure restaurant success.
• Resolve customer issues quickly while maintaining positive relations.
• Demonstrate a positive, energetic leadership style with staff and customers.
• Monitor area financial performance and identify trends.

The Area Coach (AC) provides overall leadership and direct supervision of approximately 4 - 10 Taco Bell restaurants to ensure that each Restaurant General Manager (RGM) meets or exceeds the Annual Operating Plan established for their individual unit.

Role:

• People Role model the How We Work Together Principles.
• Find and hire and develop the best RGMs, Assistant General Managers and Shift Managers.
• Coach your RGMs on the "4 Rights" in their restaurants and provide regular feedback during 1:1 sessions.
• Take action without being told, go beyond what is simply required and maintain a high activity level.
• Understand how customers are viewing your restaurants through scheduled visits and detailed analysis (VOC and CORE).
• Lead product and program rollouts with your RGMs to ensure success.
• Resolve Customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive Customer relations.
• Demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude with co-workers, employees and customers.
• Analyze the financial performance of your area and understand trends.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Area Coach position will possess:

• 5 years of successful, operational multi-unit management experience.
• Demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching and development of managerial employees.
• Proven ability to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction
• Good communication skills and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Exceptional team building capability.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical decision making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Must be able to travel between designated stores daily
