Job summary

Hospitality Restaurant Group is seeking an Area Coach to oversee 4–10 Taco Bell restaurants in Tennessee. You will coach RGMs, drive operational excellence, and analyze financial performance to meet or exceed the annual operating plan.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching and interpersonal skills, plus the ability to travel daily between stores. Franchisees set wage and benefits, and travel is a key part of the position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operating multi-unit management experience.
• Proven coaching and development of managerial employees.
• Ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; conflict resolution ability.
• Exceptional team-building capability.
• Basic business math, accounting skills and analytical decision making.
• Basic PC literacy.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel between stores daily.
• Background checks are conducted for management staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead 4–10 Taco Bell restaurants to ensure each unit meets the annual operating plan.
• Hire and develop RGMs, Assist. General Managers and Shift Managers.
• Coach RGMs on the 4 Rights with regular 1:1 feedback.
• Take initiative, go beyond requirements, maintain high activity.
• Monitor customer perception through visits, VOC and CORE analyses.
• Lead product and program rollouts with RGMs for success.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive relations.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude with staff and customers.
• Analyze area financial performance and identify trends.

You are applying for work with a franchisee of Taco Bell, not Taco Bell Corp. or any of its affiliates. If hired, the franchisee will be your only employer. Franchisees are independent business owners who set their own wage and benefit programs that can vary among franchisees.

The Area Coach (AC) provides overall leadership and direct supervision of approximately 4 - 10 Taco Bell restaurants to ensure that each Restaurant General Manager (RGM) meets or exceeds the Annual Operating Plan established for their individual unit.

Role:

• People Role model the How We Work Together Principles.
• Find and hire and develop the best RGMs, Assistant General Managers and Shift Managers.
• Coach your RGMs on the "4 Rights" in their restaurants and provide regular feedback during 1:1 sessions.
• Take action without being told, go beyond what is simply required and maintain a high activity level.
• Understand how customers are viewing your restaurants through scheduled visits and detailed analysis (VOC and CORE).
• Lead product and program rollouts with your RGMs to ensure success.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Area Coach position will possess:

• 5 years of successful, operational multi-unit management experience.
• Demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching and development of managerial employees.
• Proven ability to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction
• Good communication skills and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Exceptional team building capability.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical decision making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
