Job summary

Taco Bell Franchisee in Pittsfield (MA) seeks an Area Coach to lead a portfolio of 4–10 restaurants, ensuring RGM performance and adherence to operating plans. You will guide coaching, 4 Rights implementation, and strategic rollouts while maintaining strong customer relations.

The ideal candidate brings 5 years of multi-unit management, strong communication, and proven ability to drive customer satisfaction and financial results across the area. Travel between stores is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of successful, operational multi-unit management experience.
• Proven ability to achieve high customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; conflict resolution ability.
• Exceptional team-building capability and coaching/ development of managers.
• Basic business math and accounting skills; strong analytical decision making.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to travel between designated stores daily.
• Background checks are run on all management employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision of approximately 4–10 Taco Bell restaurants.
• Find, hire and develop RGMs, Assistant General Managers and Shift Managers.
• Coach RGMs on the 4 Rights and give regular feedback in 1:1 sessions.
• Lead product and program rollouts with RGMs to ensure success.
• Analyze area financials and monitor performance trends.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly while maintaining positive relations.
• Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic attitude with staff and customers.

The Area Coach (AC) provides overall leadership and direct supervision of approximately 4 - 10 Taco Bell restaurants to ensure that each Restaurant General Manager (RGM) meets or exceeds the Annual Operating Plan established for their individual unit.

Role:

• People Role model the How We Work Together Principles.
• Find and hire and develop the best RGMs, Assistant General Managers and Shift Managers.
• Coach your RGMs on the "4 Rights" in their restaurants and provide regular feedback during 1:1 sessions.
• Take action without being told, go beyond what is simply required and maintain a high activity level.
• Understand how customers are viewing your restaurants through scheduled visits and detailed analysis (VOC and CORE).
• Lead product and program rollouts with your RGMs to ensure success.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Area Coach position will possess:

• Proven ability to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction
• Good communication skills and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
