Job summary

Workstream is seeking an experienced Area Coach to oversee multiple fast casual dining locations. The role focuses on leading restaurant-level managers, driving guest experiences, and maximizing financial performance across a growing franchise network.

The District Manager will develop leaders, enforce standards, and implement initiatives to improve sales, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across locations. A strong track record in multi-unit food service management is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of multi-unit or district-level management in food service or restaurants.
• Proven track record of developing high-performing teams and improving guest satisfaction.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and develop Restaurant Managers and Assistant Managers across locations.
• Build leadership pipelines and succession plans across locations.
• Manage performance and drive accountability for results.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and facility maintenance across all sites.
• Drive profitability by analyzing sales, labor, and costs and implementing improvements.
• Set clear expectations and track KPIs for each location.

District Manager – Multi-Unit (Fast Casual Dining)

A large and rapidly growing casual dining franchisee is seeking an experienced Area Coach (District Manager) to oversee multiple restaurant locations. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, developing leadership talent, ensuring consistent guest experiences, and maximizing financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Talent Development

• Recruit, coach, and develop Restaurant Managers and Assistant Managers
• Build a strong leadership pipeline and succession plan across locations
• Hold management teams accountable for performance and results

Operational Excellence

• Ensure consistent execution of company standards, including food safety, quality, and facility maintenance
• Drive operational improvements through adherence to systems and processes
• Lead the rollout and execution of new products and initiatives

Guest Experience

• Ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience across all locations
• Respond promptly and effectively to guest concerns
• Coach teams to exceed guest expectations
• Analyze sales, labor, and cost trends to identify opportunities
• Develop and execute strategies to improve profitability
• Establish and monitor key performance metrics (KPIs)

Performance Management

• Set clear expectations and measurable goals for each location
• Track and improve employee satisfaction, retention, and engagement
• Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Qualifications
