Job summary

Chemours seeks an Area Continuous Improvement Leader at the Washington Works Plant in Parkersburg, WV, to drive Lean initiatives and improve area profitability. You will lead cross-functional teams, align initiatives with 3-year plans, and integrate data analytics, dashboards and digitalization in collaboration with the SCRUM master teams. The role reports to the Sr. Value Stream Leader and carries a strong development path and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations with leadership in process improvement.
• Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies experience.
• Data analytics integration and dashboarding experience.

Responsibilities

• Uses Chemours Business System tools to adopt LEAN culture and support LEAN process improvement.
• Develops a 3-year improvement strategy focused on area profitability.
• Interacts with Capital projects to ensure adequate funding and prioritization.
• Integrates improvements with data analytics, agile methods, and digitalization initiatives.
• Mentors area personnel to grow Continuous Improvement culture.
• Leads area stand-up meetings and monitors initiative milestones.
• Maintains dashboards and KPI datasets for area teams.
