Job summary

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, seeks an Area Channel Manager in the United States. You will manage local channel relationships for Square D, develop distributor plans, and drive growth through sales plans, promotions, training, and inventory planning.

Lead channel enablement, coordinate with distributors, and ensure quality service delivery while aligning with company objectives and total rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Account management or electrical components selling experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and highly motivated.
• Ability to thrive in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen relationships with key distributors to capitalize on sales and services synergies.
• Create growth-oriented business plans with distributors for acquisition and existing accounts, and establish performance measures.
• Ensure quality and responsiveness of services, aiming for a superior ease of doing business experience.
• Coordinate distributor competency development, resource utilization and program execution.
• Execute channel strategies to drive market share growth, including acquisition sales plans and promotions.
• Provide regional updates on accounts using PRM tools, highlighting opportunities and escalating issues as needed.
