Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an Area Channel Manager to oversee local distributor relationships for Square D in a defined sales area. You will develop business and operational plans with distributors and lead execution of programs to grow channel partnerships.

You will drive sales plans, local promotions, training, and inventory planning, aiming to improve ease of doing business for partners and maximize market share.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree. Account management / electrical components selling experience a plus.
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
• Entrepreneurial mindset and highly motivated.
• Ability to thrive in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen relationships with key distributors to drive sales and partnerships.
• Create growth-oriented distributor plans for acquisition and existing accounts with clear performance measures.
• Ensure quality and responsiveness of services; strive for a superior ease of doing business experience.
• Coordinate distributor competency development, resource utilization and program execution.
• Execute channel strategies to grow Square D’s market share, including plans in support of acquisition sales.
• Provide Regional Channel Manager with regular account updates using PRM tools and escalate issues as needed.
