Room and meals are provided while in Prudhoe Bay, with opportunities for UAA/AVTEC students in automotive or heavy diesel programs. The position emphasizes safety, equipment knowledge, and meticulous maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Automotive or Heavy Diesel Program at the University of Alaska Anchorage or AVTEC.
• Two letters of recommendation required, including one from a program instructor.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• NSTC certification training available through Worley if needed.

Responsibilities

• Verify and perform preventive maintenance on heavy equipment and/or light duty vehicles.
• Check and maintain oil, grease, and lubricants per procedures and instructions.
• Inspect belts, hoses, and leaks; document maintenance.
• Coordinate repairs with shop foreman and perform minor repairs/adjustments.
