Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group seeks a motivated Specification Consultant to drive architectural and construction market growth by promoting automatic door solutions to architects, specifiers, and consultants. Experience with architectural specifications is preferred, with strong communication and relationship-building skills key to success.

Qualifications

• Experience in architectural specification, construction, or related technical sales preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with architects, engineers, and specifiers.
• Promote Record products and services through presentations, lunch-and-learns, and project consultations.
• Assist in writing and reviewing specifications to ensure alignment with Record standards.
• Track and influence projects from early design through construction phases.
• Collaborate with internal sales, technical, and marketing teams to support regional growth.
• Maintain accurate records of project activity and specification efforts.
• Stay current on industry trends, building codes, and competitive products.
