Job summary

SOPREMA is a global leader in roofing, waterproofing, insulation, and building envelope solutions, seeking an Architectural Sales Representative in Florida. You will host educational seminars, build relationships with owners, architects and contractors, and present Soprema products to project teams.

Travel as needed within the region, read construction documents, develop submittals, and use Salesforce to track opportunities and progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in similar architectural/specifier related role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to travel as needed; travel varies by region.
• Salesforce or similar CRM experience.
• Flexible work schedule; able to travel on evenings and weekends when necessary for sales meetings/trade shows.
• Ability to work from home office.

Responsibilities

• Host educational seminars, both in-person and virtual.
• Build and maintain relationships with project team members including owners, architects, consultants, and contractors.
• Use Insight/ConstructConnect to provide product substitution requests.
• Read construction documents and assist with detail drawings; analyze competitors’ specs.
• Review and assist in the preparation of submittal packages.
• Influence and drive materials placement in specifications.
• Coordinate and present Soprema products to architects, consultants, and contractors.
• Engage in industry associations such as AIA, BOMA, CSI, IBEC.
• Log activities and track project status using Salesforce.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
