Ozell Services, Inc. seeks anArchitectural Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector to support USACE on complex federal construction projects at Fort Meade, MD. The role emphasizes field inspections, QA documentation, and active participation in contractor QC meetings.

You will review plans and specs and ensure installations meet contract requirements. Ideal candidates have strong field documentation skills, familiarity with the three-phase QC process, and experience in federal or DoD construction

Qualificações

• Significant experience in architectural construction, inspection, quality control, or quality assurance.
• Strong field documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety training.
• Federal/DoD construction experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform architectural QA inspections of ongoing construction activities.
• Participate in the three-phase inspection process, including preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections.
• Document field inspections, observations, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
• Prepare daily quality assurance reports and other required inspection documentation.
• Attend and participate in contractor QC, progress, and coordination meetings.
• Review construction plans, specifications, and applicable contract requirements.
• Monitor architectural installations for compliance with contract documents and quality standards.
• Track deficiencies, punch-list items, and corrective actions through resolution.
• Support review of RFIs, submittals, as-built drawings, and other construction documentation as required.
• Utilize USACE RMS and Microsoft Office for project documentation.
