Job summary

PulteGroup is seeking an experienced CAD Architect/Designer to support architectural construction drawings onsite in Carmel, Indiana. The role involves producing and revising CAD drawings, applying redlines, and coordinating plan updates with multiple teams across the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in architecture or construction, strong knowledge of residential construction, and proficiency with AutoCAD and BIM tools.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and minimum 4 years relevant work experience.
• Some job areas may require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce, revise, and maintain architectural construction drawings in CAD
• Apply redlines, engineering markups, and design changes accurately across all plan sheets
• Maintain plan versions, documentation, and drawing standards
• Collect and organize project information from internal teams and consultants
• Prepare drawing packages for reviews, permitting, construction, and vendor coordination
• Coordinate plan updates with engineering, product development, construction, and purchasing
• Support Field teams by addressing architectural questions and resolving plan discrepancies
• Assist in maintaining drafting standards, templates, and process improvements
• Track tasks, manage deadlines, and communicate status on assigned plan updates
• Apply basic building code and compliance requirements within plan updates
• Perform other duties as assigned
