Job summary

PulteGroup is seeking an experienced architectural CAD specialist for a Carmel, Indiana office. You will produce and revise construction drawings, apply engineering markups, and maintain drawing standards to support homebuilding projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating updates with engineering and field teams and ensuring plan integrity throughout the project lifecycle. The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and timely delivery of construction documents in a fast-paced residential

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years Architecture or Construction experience.
• Construction document development expertise.
• Knowledge of residential construction techniques.
• Knowledge of plans specifications and residential building standards.
• Knowledge of structural elements and product installation methods.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Software skills in Word, Excel, and AutoCAD required; BIM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce, revise, and maintain architectural construction drawings in CAD.
• Apply redlines, engineering markups, and design changes across plan sheets.
• Maintain plan versions, documentation, and standards.
• Coordinate plan updates with engineering, product development, and construction.
• Support field teams by addressing architectural questions and resolving plan discrepancies.
• Track tasks, deadlines, and communicate status on plan updates.
