Job summary

PulteGroup in Carmel, IN is seeking an experienced CAD/Architectural Drafter to produce, revise and manage construction drawings for residential projects. You will apply design changes, maintain drawing standards, and coordinate with engineering, product development, and construction teams to ensure accurate plan updates.

The role requires strong knowledge of residential construction, proficiency in AutoCAD, and solid communication skills to support field teams and drive project timelines.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in architectural construction drawing development and plan coordination.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel); BIM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce, revise, and maintain architectural construction drawings in CAD.
• Apply redlines, engineering markups, and design changes across all plan sheets.
• Maintain plan versions, documentation, and drawing standards.
• Coordinate plan updates with engineering, product development, construction, and purchasing.
• Support Field teams by addressing architectural questions and resolving plan discrepancies.
• Track tasks, manage deadlines, and communicate status on plan updates.
