Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 3–5 years specification sales in architectural lighting.
• Experience managing independent manufacturer reps.
• Knowledge of architectural specification process.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow sales across a multi-state territory via independent rep networks.
• Develop regional sales strategies to increase specification activity and market share.
• Build relationships with architects, lighting designers, engineers, distributors, contractors, and end users.
• Support and motivate independent reps with joint calls, training and strategic planning.
• Identify new specification opportunities from concept through project completion.
• Conduct product presentations, Lunch & Learns, and educational events.
• Collaborate with marketing/product teams for new product introductions.
• Maintain project pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts.
• Track competitor activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent the company at industry events and customer functions.
• Travel throughout the territory to support customers and opportunities.
