Job summary

Mayer Fabrics is seeking a full-time Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. You will develop and maintain strong customer relationships while promoting Mayer Fabrics' product portfolio to the architecture and design community, furniture dealerships, manufacturers, purchasing firms, and end users through Product presentations, specification development, and consultative selling.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
3–5 years outside sales or related industry experience.
Experience selling contract textiles or commercial interior products is preferred.
Proven ability to build relationships, develop new business, and achieve sales goals.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and networking skills.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong customer relationships while driving sales growth in the assigned territory.
Promote Mayer Fabrics' product portfolio to architecture and design community, furniture dealerships, manufacturers and end users.
Identify new business opportunities, grow existing accounts, and conduct in-person visits.
Manage sales activities through CRM and deliver educational presentations.
Travel regularly throughout the territory, including occasional overnight travel.
