Job summary

Western States Metal Roofing is seeking an experienced Architectural Representative to expand our presence within the architectural and design community. This role focuses on building long‑term relationships with architectural firms, educators, and specifiers to increase the use of our metal roofing and wall systems on commercial and residential projects.

Qualifications

Experience working with architects, designers, specifiers, contractors, manufacturers, or construction‑related organizations.
Understanding of architectural specification and construction process.
Ability to develop professional relationships and generate opportunities through relationship‑based business development.
Comfort presenting products and technical information to architectural firms and groups.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, specifiers, consultants, developers, and other industry professionals.
Proactively identify architectural firms, projects, and market opportunities where Western States products can be specified.
Work to have Western States Metal Roofing products written into architectural specifications and included in project design documents.
Conduct architectural presentations, product demonstrations, lunch‑and‑learns, and educational meetings.
Educate architects and designers on Western States roofing and wall panel systems, specialty finishes, colors, materials, applications, and capabilities.
Travel within the assigned territory as necessary to meet with architectural firms, customers, and project stakeholders.
