The role requires building customer relationships, acting as a technical resource, conducting design consultations, budgeting assistance, and pricing estimates. Strong communication and plan-reading skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 4-year degree preferred.
• Two or more years of relevant experience.
• Ability to understand and read plans and specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; lead, execute and/or delegate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers.
• Technical resource for the internal sales team and external customers in acoustical architectural specialties products.
• Perform design consultation and assist with project budgeting.
• Uncover new project opportunities.
• Estimate and produce project pricing.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers to determine strategic sales approaches.
• Overcome objections; quote prices and maintain records of sales activity.
