Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) is seeking an Architect for the PMO to lead architectural design and construction-document production for in-house projects, including tenant improvements and facility modifications.

This role blends hands-on design with cross-disciplinary coordination, ensuring code compliance and high-quality deliverables, with a potential hybrid work option after a probationary period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent with A/E experience.

Responsabilités

• Translate stakeholder requirements into architectural criteria and solutions.
• Plan and prepare architectural construction-document packages for in-house projects.
• Develop complete designs addressing programming, code, life-safety, accessibility, and materials.
• Perform building-code, life-safety, egress, and accessibility analyses.
• Take technical ownership, research conditions, and resolve issues with SMEs.
• Provide construction-phase support: reviews, RFIs, field observations, revisions.
