Job summary

LAPORTE L.C.C. is seeking an experienced Architect to join our Architectural Services team on a full-time, hybrid basis.

The role focuses on delivering architectural design and documentation for pharmaceutical laboratory and manufacturing facilities. You will collaborate with engineering disciplines and sub-consultants, lead architectural design scope, and ensure high-quality, coordinated documentation for permits and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program; licensure achieved or on the path to licensure.
• At least 5 years of professional architectural design experience.
• Preferred experience with industrial manufacturing projects.
• Expert-level proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
• Knowledge of building and accessibility codes; applicability to industrial and laboratory facilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal engineering disciplines (Process, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Automation).
• Coordinate with Civil and Structural sub-consultants.
• Lead architectural design scope for advanced pharmaceutical laboratories and manufacturing plants.
• Develop conceptual basis of design layouts and descriptions for early-stage client evaluation.
• Produce highly coordinated project documentation for permitting and construction issuances.
