Job summary

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized architecture, engineering, planning, and construction services firm, seeks a full-time Architect to lead the architectural delivery of laboratory projects across the United States. The role emphasizes coordination among architecture, laboratory planning, engineering disciplines, and clients to meet complex program and budget requirements.

The successful candidate will have a professional license (and ability to licensure in additional states), at least 10

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field from an accredited college or university
• At least 10 years of relevant project experience
• Current architectural license and ability to obtain licensure in additional states as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design, technical development, and project delivery from planning through occupancy.
• Coordinate architecture with laboratory planning, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines.
• Mentor architectural staff and lead project teams through all phases of delivery.
• Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and field conditions during construction.
