Job summary

ZEISS Group provides electrical, mechanical and refrigeration support for AR and Rx manufacturing systems across ZEISS and customer environments. The role combines AR system expertise with Polycold refrigeration servicing to ensure uptime, performance and safe operation.

A key focus is building internal Polycold service capability while reducing reliance on external vendors. You will deliver remote and onsite technical support, diagnose issues, perform maintenance, install and calibrate

Qualifications

• Degree or trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Refrigeration.
• 5 years servicing, troubleshooting & maintenance of refrigeration equipment.
• 2 years experience with Polycold systems preferred.
• 2 years experience with AR coating systems preferred.
• Certification for safe handling of refrigerants and regassing.

Responsibilities

• AR Systems – Provide remote and onsite technical support for AR / HC equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and process issues.
• Perform preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance.
• Install, commission, calibrate and validate equipment.
• Interpret schematics and technical documentation.
• Deliver training to customer teams.
• Polycold / Refrigeration Service – service and troubleshoot Polycold refrigeration systems.
• Ensure compliance with refrigerant handling regulations.
• Travel as required (50-80%).
