Accounts Receivable Specialist – Cash Application (Contract)

Ready to make an immediate impact on a high-priority finance project? Our client is looking for detail-oriented Accounts Receivable professionals to help post and apply cash following a recent Workday implementation. You’ll work directly with experienced AR leads and play a key role in getting receivables caught up. If you understand how AR works and enjoy jumping in to get things done, this is a great opportunity to put your skills to work.

• Job Type: Contract (two to three months)

• Location: Remote (Pacific Time hours preferred, with flexible schedules)

• Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $23-$26/hr

• No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role

What You’ll Do:

• Post incoming customer payments to accounts receivable
• Apply unapplied and on-account cash to the correct customer accounts
• Complete high-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy
• Work with your assigned AR lead to answer questions and resolve customer-specific issues
• Help reduce the cash application backlog and bring receivables up to date

What Gets You the Job:

• Proven success in accounts receivable, including a solid understanding of AR processes
• Cash posting and cash application experience
• Workday experience is a strong plus, though strong AR experience in a similar system will be considered
• Accuracy and comfort with high-volume data entry
• Strong communication skills, self-initiative, and the ability to jump in and work independently
