Job summary

Symbotic is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Wilmington, MA to handle sales orders, invoicing, tax compliance, and customer billing. You will work with ERP systems, coordinate with Sales and Supply Chain teams, and support monthly closes and ERP implementations.

The role requires 2+ years in order/invoicing processes, proficiency in SAP ERP, and strong communication skills. This is a hybrid position with travel as needed and a base pay range described below.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or business; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer sales order, invoicing and related processes
• Proficient in SAP ERP
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Responsibilities

• Participate in the creation of Sales Orders and invoices for customer contracts using ERP.
• Ensures accurate and timely execution of transactions for sales orders, invoices and credit notes.
• Ensure sales tax is set correctly in ERP and is included in customer invoices in compliance with applicable rules.
• Communicates directly with customers to resolve issues related to invoices or deliverables.
• Manage customer relationships, follow up past dues including resolving payment disputes, misapplied payments, and statement reconciliation.
• Assists with financial and management reporting related to customer billing.
• Seek to improve all aspects of the Sales Order process & Billing activities by reviewing current methodology and processes and proposing process improvements.
• Assists with activities within the Sales and Supply Chain teams related to all accounts: account setup, order quantities, payment terms, product pricing, shipping terms, supplier codes, supplier portals, and tax related items.
• Knowledgeable of end-to-end processing requirements for processing invoices.
• Assist in monthly close activities and audits.
• Support ERP implementation.
