Ledgent-Finance- is seeking a Billing / Accounts Receivable Specialist in St. Petersburg, FL to manage invoicing, cash applications, and collections within a high-volume distribution environment.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and experience with ERP systems. The ideal candidate will handle month-end close assistance and data integrity across AR records, while collaborating with sales, customer service, and operations to resolve billing issues and improve

Qualifications

• 2+ years of billing and accounts receivable experience.
• Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environments preferred.
• Strong invoicing, cash applications, collections, and reconciliations knowledge.
• Proficient with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
• ERP experience with NetSuite/SAP/Oracle/Sage/Dynamics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and timely.
• Apply daily cash receipts, ACH, wires, and card payments.
• Monitor AR aging and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Communicate billing discrepancies and payment status with customers.
• Research and resolve invoice, payment, and reconciliation issues.
