• A South Bend network, or the hustle to build one from scratch.
• Grit to debug at 4pm on a Friday without complaint.
• Solid foundation in Month-End Close, refined over 3+ years.

Responsibilities

• Turn a sprawling spreadsheet into a controlled, auditable workbook.
• Read covenant terms closely enough to keep the lender calm.
• Turn raw ledgers into forecasts the finance team can actually plan against.
• Build variance commentary executives actually read top to bottom.
• Draft tax memos clear enough that legal signs without rewrites.
• Read the AR aging like a weather map and act before storms hit.
• Prepare board-ready financial packages and problem-solving executive summaries.
