Job summary

The Hiscox USA Finance Operations team is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst in Atlanta, GA. This hands-on role handles receivables activities, resolves broker and customer inquiries, and maintains accurate account records within a hybrid delivery model.

You will respond to AR requests via Zendesk and other channels, apply payments, investigate variances, assist with month-end close, and contribute to process improvements while upholding audits and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• 3–6 years of accounts receivable or related finance experience.
• Proficiency in AR principles: payment application, research, reconciliations, aging and collections.
• Strong Excel skills to organize, filter and analyze data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Handle AR requests via Zendesk, mailboxes and channels; categorize, document and resolve within service expectations.
• Review remittance information and correctly apply payments to open receivables.
• Research payment discrepancies, posting delays, unallocated cash, credits and refunds.
• Maintain extension logs and aging trackers with timely follow-up and escalation.
• Process Broker of Record requests, payment corrections and account-maintenance tasks per procedures.
• Support month-end/year-end activities with schedules and supporting documentation.
