Hiscox USA is hiring an Accounts Receivable Analyst in Atlanta, GA. You will work in Finance Operations, handling receivables, broker/customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate account records in a hybrid model. The role supports AR processes and requires attention to detail with cross-team collaboration.

The position reports to the AR Senior Analyst and involves heavy data handling, payment application, and process improvement. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–6 years in AR are expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in accounts receivable, cash application, finance operations or related financial role.
• Working knowledge of AR principles, including payment application, account research, reconciliations, aging and collections.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including organizing, filtering and analyzing transactional data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Process AR requests received through Zendesk and other channels, categorizing, documenting and resolving within service expectations.
• Review remittance information and apply payments to open receivables.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, posting delays, unapplied or unallocated cash, credits and debits.
• Maintain logs and trackers with timely follow-up and escalation of aging items.
• Process Broker of Record requests and other account-maintenance activities per procedures.
• Support collections by reaching out to brokers or customers and escalating unresolved matters.
• Assist with month-end and year-end activities by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Support audit requests by retrieving organized supporting evidence.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest practical process improvements.
