Job summary

Kforce Inc in Saint Louis, MO is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager - Billing & Collections to lead a team responsible for end-to-end Order-to-Cash activities, including billing, cash application, and reconciliation.

The ideal candidate will set performance expectations, coach staff, manage KPIs related to aging and DSO, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and implement automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred; Equivalent education and experience considered.
• 7+ years of progressive Order-to-Cash, Accounts Receivable, billing, collections, or related experience.
• 3+ years of direct people management experience.
• Demonstrated experience coaching employees, managing performance, and driving accountability.
• Strong billing and collections experience with KPI experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of billing and collections professionals.
• Manage daily billing, collections, cash application, and reconciliation activities.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to productivity, aging, collections, and service levels.
• Coach employees, provide timely feedback, and address performance gaps.
• Lead AR reviews and drive follow-through on outstanding risks and action items.
• Monitor customer account risks, disputes, escalations, promises to pay, and collection activity.
• Oversee period-end activities and reconciliations.
• Analyze AR performance, aging, DSO, and other key metrics.
• Partner cross-functionally to resolve operational issues and improve processes.
• Support process improvement, automation, and technology initiatives.
