Crescent Parts & Equipment, located in St. Louis, MO, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead credit, collections, and AR operations while building and supporting a high-performing AR team.

This hands-on leadership role balances strategic oversight with daily execution, focusing on cash flow protection, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to support sustained growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercial credit, collections, or AR.
• Leadership experience in a related function.
• Proficient in credit analysis and risk management.
• Familiarity with ERP and AR automation tools.
• Strong Excel skills and data-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead credit and collections activities to protect cash flow.
• Evaluate customer creditworthiness and set credit limits.
• Manage escalated collections issues and high-risk accounts.
• Coach and develop the AR team.
• Monitor aging, performance, and credit risk metrics.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and branches to resolve billing issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and automation.
