Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Interline Specialist 1 to resolve customer disputes and inquiries via email or phone. Responsibilities include managing reconsignments, address changes, and invoicing corrections, while coordinating with carriers and internal teams.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and preferred experience in collections or AR/AP, plus customer service in transportation. First shift is available.

Qualifications

• Analytical skills used to address and resolve invoicing disputes.
• Experience in collections and/or accounts payable or receivable preferred.
• Customer service experience in transportation industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle and resolve requests, disputes, and complaints from customers via email or phone.
• Oversee email management system for distributing requests per procedures.
• Research and address customer inquiries and disputes involving invoicing and reconsignments.
• Obtain authority to change delivery addresses and apply applicable fees.
• Use correction reports from carriers and report findings to management.
• Interact with Support Center, service centers, external customers, and carriers daily.
• Cross-train on Interline processes.
