The Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Austin is seeking an Accountant III - AR Hotline to support ARS activities for SNAP/TANF overpayments. This full-time role handles inbound/outbound calls, verifies client account data, and tracks workflow logs in ARTS.

Candidates will have at least three years of customer service or accounting experience, proficiency with MS Office, and experience with automated accounting systems. Telework is not available for this position.

Competenze

• Three years of customer service or call center experience.
• Three years of accounting or cash-handling experience.
• Experience with automated accounting systems and MS Office suite.

Mansioni

• Answer inbound client calls and provide account information.
• Make outbound calls to provide account details and address inquiries.
• Process workflow logs in ARTS and monitor claim changes.
• Process TOP/IG repayments and one-time debit requests.
• Create and monitor ARTS workflow logs for changes and refunds.
• Back up tasks like refund requests and provider claim setups.
