Job summary

Wellness Pointe in Texas is seeking an Accounting Specialist - AR to manage receivables and reconcile general ledgers and multiple bank accounts. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

You will collaborate with Billing staff to resolve discrepancies, prepare deposits and GL entries, and monitor electronic payments. Experience with Sage is a plus, and knowledge of 403b and grants processes will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related field, or 5 years accounting experience.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Valid Texas driver license and auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Process clinical payment information for the financial system (Sage).
• Reconcile clinical payments with bank records for accuracy.
• Collaborate with Billing Office Manager to resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile bank statements for multiple accounts and report to executives.
• Prepare deposits and record GL entries; monitor electronic payments.
• Process 403b retirement plan activity after payroll; assist quarterly audits.
