Job summary

Aston Carter is actively seeking a Credit & Collections Specialist in Denver, CO. This role focuses on timely recovery of outstanding cash, accurate reconciliation, dispute resolution, and meeting DSO targets.

You will manage a diverse portfolio and collaborate with customer service and operations to optimize cash flow. You will work in a hybrid environment with standard business hours, leveraging Excel, ERP tools, and proactive communication to secure payments and maintain strong client

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounts receivable experience or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain AR aging for the portfolio and reconcile statements.
• Identify credit risk accounts and execute collection strategies.
• Contact customers regularly to collect past-due balances and document interactions.
• Prepare portfolio reports highlighting aging trends and collection performance.
• Support cash application and ensure payments match customer accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes and improve processes.
