Job summary

The Collections Representative will manage a high-volume AR portfolio for Aston Carter, focusing on reducing past-due balances and improving cash flow while delivering excellent customer service. The role analyzes AR data, conducts outbound collection calls, resolves account discrepancies, and maintains detailed documentation.

This is an onsite contract-to-hire position based in Stuart, FL. The role requires strong math skills, proficiency with Outlook and Excel, and experience with JD Edwards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
• Prior accounts receivable experience is a plus.
• B2B collections for medium to large organizations preferred.
• Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) or similar ERP software preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills in collection settings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze accounts receivable balances and AR trends to identify collection efforts.
• Proactively follow up on past-due invoices via phone and written correspondence.
• Conduct high-volume outbound collection calls and meet daily quotas.
• Work toward daily collection goals, including a target of $8,500 per day per collector.
• Prepare and update accurate documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams like accounting and credit.
• Provide strong customer service and negotiate payment plans.
• Use Outlook and Excel to manage communications and reports.
• Leverage JD Edwards or similar ERP software to review accounts.
• Read and follow policies and procedures.
