Job summary

DoubleVerify’s Accounts Receivable department is seeking a highly motivated AR/Collections Associate to manage portfolios, meet monthly cash collection goals, and reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

The role requires 2–4 years in collections, advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred, and strong written and verbal communication. Netsuite and international collections experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related experience in a collections role.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
• Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Extremely detail oriented with analytical and time management abilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• Knowledge of Netsuite is a plus.
• International collections experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely collection of Accounts Receivables and minimize delinquent balances to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
• Maintain a good follow-up system to ensure promises to pay are met and accounts are not neglected.
• Send reminder notices and statements to outstanding customers.
• Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues.
• Identify root causes of problems affecting payment of invoices and communicate with clients to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Review and rank customers by risk of collectability and monitor high risk accounts.
• Develops effective relationships with customers to collect balances efficiently.
• Present information to managers, employees, vendors and customers in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
• Assist with AR month end close and other ad hoc requests.
• Maintain attention to detail, manage time efficiently, and provide exceptional customer service.
