Easy Way Products Co. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist to manage end-to-end collections, investigate payment discrepancies, and coordinate with Sales and Customer Service.

The role focuses on securing payment on past-due accounts, preparing weekly aging reports, and recommending credit holds when warranted. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of AR experience, an associate degree in accounting or related field, proficient Excel skills, and strong communication

• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task within timeframes.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the collections process for all customer accounts, contacting customers to secure payment on past-due balances and maintaining detailed records of collection activity.
• Prepare and distribute a weekly AR aging report to Sales, Accounting, Customer Service, and executives, using it to prioritize daily collection efforts.
• Research and investigate payment discrepancies and short-pays, reviewing orders, invoices, and shipping docs before escalation.
• Communicate directly with customers about past-due balances with firm follow-up.
• Evaluate customer status and recommend credit hold, cut-off, or release decisions based on history and risk.
• Prepare credit memo and account adjustment paperwork with supporting docs for ERP entry.
• Reconcile customer accounts to ensure AR balances are accurate.
• Serve as primary liaison between Accounting, Sales, and Customer Service on AR and collections matters.
