Victory Air in Deer Park, TX is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist to join our finance team. You will oversee invoicing, payments, and aging reports while maintaining accuracy and strong customer service.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in AR roles, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. You will prepare reports and help resolve billing discrepancies to support management decisions.

• 1+ year experience in AR or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and research skills.
• Strong customer service and effective communication in all interactions.
• Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Manage accounts receivable by monitoring customer accounts and aging reports; contact customers to collect balances.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment disputes, and account issues with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and customers.
• Process customer invoices, credit memos, payments, and account adjustments; reconcile accounts and maintain records.
• Process credit applications and assist with credit reviews and setups.
• Maintain documentation of collection activities, communications, payment statuses, and records.
• Prepare and analyze AR reports, aging, and collection updates for management decisions.
• Manage shared inboxes and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Maintain customer sales tax exemption certificates; ensure documentation is current and compliant.
• Identify delinquent accounts and take action to facilitate timely payment and reduce receivables.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
