Job summary

Americold is seeking an AR Analyst in Atlanta, GA to actively manage a complex AR portfolio, drive root-cause resolution, and optimize cash flow. The role requires quick decision-making, strong attention to detail, and collaboration with internal partners across functions.

You will monitor aging, analyze trends, and advise on holds or payment plans while ensuring adherence to company policy and SOX controls. Candidates should have 3+ years in AR and experience with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years experience in AR, accounting or finance.
• 3+ years experience with large ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently.
• Understanding of order-to-cash lifecycle and SOX basics.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers, business development teams, and internal partners.
• Monitor AR aging and resolve issues, discrepancies, and inquiries in a timely manner.
• Analyze customer accounts to identify trends, discrepancies and risks; drive process improvements.
• Evaluate accounts for risk of non-collection and recommend holds, payment plans, or bad debt reserves.
• Review, research, and resolve unapplied and on-account cash.
• Lead cross-functional discussions to drive resolution.
• Support special projects and ad-hoc analyses as requested by management.
• Subject matter expert for critical department processes.
