Job summary

Rush Enterprises Inc. seeks a Collections Administrator to support the Collections Coordinator in managing accounts receivable for Rush Truck Leasing. The role includes daily receivables checks, status updates, and patient follow‑ups with delinquent accounts.

You will prepare monthly reports, ensure policy compliance, and collaborate with sales and management to minimize bad debt while maintaining customer relationships across North America.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in credit/collection and accounts receivable preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and SAP is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication for calls and emails.

Responsibilities

• Check receivables run daily and monitor invoice clearing.
• Make collection calls on A/R accounts and keep records updated.
• Assist in collection on past due accounts and research discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly aged reports for collections oversight.
• Communicate with Collections Coordinator, Credit Manager, and sales staff as needed.
• Post business transactions and verify funds received and disbursed.
• Audit delinquent accounts and escalate bad debt decisions as required.
