Job summary

Workstrings International in Broussard, LA seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage rental billing and final invoicing for repairs. The role covers billing for ongoing jobs, cycles while equipment is out, and the sale of damaged equipment at job end.

The candidate will work with operations and sales teams, ensure accurate charges, and support month-end close. On-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing/accounting practices.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Track ongoing jobs and new closings to ensure all charges are captured.
• Bill all rental cycles when equipment is out to the customer.
• Bill repairs on job closeout; review damages.
• Compile rental or chargeback information to create invoices.
• Coordinate with Business Development to meet customer requirements.
• Close out jobs ensuring invoices are posted in accounting.
• Communicate with vendors regarding costs for repairs or lost equipment.
• Track Purchase Orders to their corresponding AFE numbers.
• Review billing tickets for pricing accuracy and charges.
• Contact customers about past due invoices and obtain status.
• Submit EDI invoices through customer portals.
• Assist with monthly close-out activities.
